I don't wish to give up, but I am tired.

Right now, I am in a period of a lack of motivation.  Giving up on exercise seems so easy now.  However, I am frustrated and I won't do it.  What is the use of buying equipment if I don't have the motivation to do so? I just don't feel like it today, but I won't complain.  I just have to go out there and just do it, right?  I guess that is the only way I can stay healthy and lose weight.  Why am I like this?  How could allow myself to lack the motivation that I so need?  The last time I exercised was Monday.  Despite my health risks, I have to go our there and just do it.  I have gone too far to turn back.

Reflection:
I am thinking about formulating my own plan.  I have yet to follow a plan of my very own.  It has been a while since, never. I have decided that I may need to go outside the box.  Lately I have been walking and while it has been beneficial in that my mind is clearer, I may have to exercise more.  In fact, I do have to exercise more.  I did however create a way to get out of the rut of exercise and a lack thereof.  I have made the decision to exercise daily, maybe five to six days per week.  I really don't know what to do.  However, here is the getting out of the box when it comes to exercise.  I have just noticed that I have to make changes with this particular plan.  It isn't the most realistic plan for now.  I may walk one day for 15+ minutes.  On another day, I will do strength training for 10-20 minutes.  Then on one day, I rest my muscles, which would cause me a cause for alarm since I deal with anxiety on a daily basis.

I did not exercise today.  The last thing I should do or say is procrastinate.  There was no excuse for me not to exercise except I wasn't feeling well.  I realize that that could be a good enough reason not to exercise. However, I have noticed that even with exercise, I feel better.  I won't take this with a grain of salt.

Reflection:
I have not worn the exercise watch today.  However I did walk around the nearest areas downtown.  I had a nice talk with the person who walked with me.  Sadly, I do not to give out the results because I wear that watch.  I didn't wear it because of the weather.  It was new, so I did not wear it.  I didn't want to get it wet or muggy since I have just purchased the watch a few days ago. I did explain the benefits of walking with a partner with the person who was walking with me.  It does help to gain support when one exercises. Holding oneself in a relationship as far as accountability goes a long way into helping those whose desire and need is to lose weight.

I did not exercise today.  However, taking dogs outside and picking up one of them in 90 degree weather can burn a few calories.  AS a matter of fact, I checked out the Calorielab website and I finally found this number based on how much I weigh:

This is the amount of calories, except for the fact that I was outside for between 15-30 minutes.  I calculated it to be between 28 and 85 calories.  According to one source I find that I have burned 60+ calories. My healthy living goals and reflections

There are days like this when I need to realize if I should exercise every day or every other day.  My goal is to make my schedule stick.  I struggle with doing that because I just go out there and just exercise.  I used to make exercise plans for the week and I need to do it again.  I have a goal.  On a day where I am not busy, I will go out walking, stretching for my back or neck pain, or do some other exercise.  Exercise is a reminder of working towards a goal of a healthy lifestyle.  It is also a reminder that there are motivators to exercise and also to eat healthy.  I admit that I have not exercised today, nor have I eaten healthy.

One of the things that I have learned is to reconcile both exercise and healthy eating and do both of them together.  That was one of the things that was often holding me back from reaching my weight loss goals.  There are times when I exercise but did not eat the necessary servings of fruits and vegetables I was supposed to consume.  There are other times when I did not exercise but in fact ate healthier.  Finally, it does worse. There are those moments where I did neither.

Maybe I shouldn't just learn.  I should just go ahead and do it.  I have learned, however, to face my fears.  I have allowed those fears to hold me back that I did not live a healthy lifestyle and I did in the past procrastinate.  I don't want to wish or beat up on myself either.  I am careful with the words I choose nowadays because words have power.  They can make me or break me.  I choose not to be broken.  I am a bit down, but I am not out.  Tomorrow is just another day.

This was yesterday's reflection.  This is today's reflection.  It hasn't changed much.  However, my goal is to still lose 60 pounds, for now.  60 pounds is my permanent goal, for now.  My goal is the lose 15 pounds at a time.  I did exercise today.  As a matter of fact, I walked.  I did not have my pedometer because well, it doesn't work.  I bought batteries as a result.  I hope that they would work.

What I will be doing in fact

I don't know exactly how many calories I have burned today, but a little can do some good.  However, I am not just content with doing a stretch here and there. I have already made plans to exercise much tomorrow. In fact,  I intend to exercise for at least 10-15 minutes per day but I will exercise much more than that.  I just love to exercise my mind and my body.

Benefiting from exercise

I realize that I was and still am right.  Exercise does a body good.  I have been lazy and tired to do a blog entry yesterday.  I have been extremely tired last night.  Using a computer was the last thing on my mind. Tonight I plan to do P90X.  I know that it is not for beginners but it is well worth it.  I am not sure how much exercise I should do.  Should I exercise daily?  Should I exercise per week?  I am tired of being just a beginner.  Lately I have come to realize that exercise has been of great help for me.  I no longer see it as a chore.

Well, here is some good news.  The good news is, that I have exercised using P90X.  It is a fabulous fat burning workout.  I didn't realize how much easier it was than before.  I thought it would be more difficult. I don't have the entire workout but the infomercials and YouTube videos inspire me.  As a matter of fact, I exercised off of P90X for about 20 minutes and burned over 200 calories.  That is inspiring enough.  Unfortunately I did not get to exercise as much as I did for the past two days but I will not make any excuses.  I am inspired to continue to exercise and therefore, I will continue to see exercise as something I want to do daily.  I feel like exercise will become a habit physically as well as mentally.  So far I have already lost five pounds.  I also stretch and walk as well.  Having PCOS or any autoimmune condition can be hard to live with but with exercise, I have come to realize that despite having that condition, it doesn't have to be impossible and not just hard.  Exercise I admit has been good for me.

Reflection about exercise for today 7/1/15
